The Beginning

Self-taught,
and shaped by community.

What started as a passion for movement gradually developed into a creative career built around dance, storytelling, culture and connection. Over the years, Angelo has developed a distinctive artistic identity that brings together Burundian traditional movement, African rhythm and contemporary choreography.

Angelo is self-taught, shaped through collaboration with other local youth in dance clubs and informal mentorship, rather than formal training.

2014

The Beginning: Angelo begins his dance journey, discovering dance as a powerful form of expression, discipline and storytelling.

2014–2024

The Evolution: dance develops from a passion into a serious artistic journey, exploring different forms of movement while staying connected to his Burundian roots.

13 April 2025

A New Chapter: Angelo is baptized as a follower of Jesus Christ, marking an important new chapter in his personal and spiritual journey.

Today

Purpose: Angelo continues to dance, choreograph and create with the desire to inspire people, celebrate Burundian culture and use his gifts for a greater purpose.
